Air Zimbabwe Strike by Pilots Prolonged

On the 5th day of strike by Air Zimbabwe pilots, the strike is still on and everyone is in darkness with what is going on between the pilots and management of the government airline. The strike which started on Friday, 29th July is still continued and has not resolved yet. On calling upon to the Air Zimbabwe aviation center, there are no answers to the phone calls and they are not responding to the queries of reporters or passengers. According to some sources, airline management told the pilots that airline cannot raise the funds to pay their dues of June and July to which pilots responded by walking out. Besides many talks with the pilots, the Manager of Air Zimbabwe for Europe, David Mwenga, said that till the issue is not resolved as the Air Zimbabwe strike is still continued, Air Zimbabwe flights will remain suspended.
