Air Zimbabwe Strike Prolonged

Air Zimbabwe strike forced airline to cancel all flights on London Harare route and many others as well. Air Zimbabwe Strike started on Tuesday has entered into the fourth day and still the airline’s management and higher authorities are trying to convince the pilots to come back and resume their duties. As it has been informed that Air Zimbabwe management owes 9 million US Dollars to its employees and Chairman clearly confessed that the airline doesn’t have much money to fulfill the needs of pilots.

On other side pilots have informed the media that the deal made by the government on previous strike has not been fulfilled yet. So how the pilots are supposed to work if they are not getting what they work for.

Strike has been prolonged and it can go till next week because in near future there is no hope for positive results. Air Zimbabwe has announced that the passengers should stay in touch for the alternatives and refunds.
