Striking Pilots Wants Management Replacement to End Strike

Air Zimbabwe Strike is still continued and entered into the 8th day. Negotiations process on 30th march came up with some conditions from striking pilots and Zimbabwe Trade Union that Air Zimbabwe must replace the current management with professionals. Air Zimbabwe Trade union wants government to fire all Air Zimbabwe current management and especially talking about the manager Jonathan Kadzura and hire some new professionals. Zimbabwe Congress trade said that workers will get back to work if the current board of Air Zimbabwe is sacked.Mr Kadzura himself refused to make any comment about this demand by Air Zimbabwe striking pilots and union though Moyo said that replacement of current Air Zimbabwe board can bring the workers back, He added:
“The employees are convinced that the solution lies with the board which has to be fired in order to pave the way for a professional management board that will take care of the operations of the airline,” Moyo told VOA Studio 7 reporter Gibbs Dube”
Air Zimbabwe is on strike since 23 Mar 2011 and airline has lost business because of this strike, thousands of passengers are in trouble, they got stranded and looking up for alternatives.
